Poetry in Retrospect

Wrote this about a year ago. My first poem ever- angsty enough?

Boxes

I've put you away
in a box
to look at and deal with on another day
not today
today is busy
as it should be
though it would be nice to sit by you
in that box for a while

I shouldn't
because if I do,
I'm bound
to drown
and feel down
and hope you'll come around

but you won't
so I'll just keep you there for now
